Privacy policy
Last updated: 9 October 2026
EquatorSolver is a Windows application published by Boris Armenta. This policy explains what the app does with your information. In short: it does not collect, store or transmit any personal data.
Information the app collects
None. EquatorSolver has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no telemetry of its own. The app does not request internet access and does not connect to any server.
Information stored on your device
- Worksheets are saved only when you choose to save them, in the location you pick.
- Settings: the app remembers your interface language in a small file in your Windows user
profile (
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Equator\settings.json). - Diagnostics: if the app runs into an internal error, a description of the error is written to a log file in your temporary folder. It stays on your device and is never sent anywhere.
Uninstalling the app removes its settings. Your saved worksheets remain where you saved them.
Microsoft Store
The app is distributed through the Microsoft Store. Microsoft may collect information about downloads, purchases and crashes under its own privacy statement, available at privacy.microsoft.com.
Children
Because the app collects no personal data, it is suitable for students of any age.
Changes to this policy
If a future version changes how data is handled, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the date above will change.
